Job Description - Principle Process Manager

Principle Process Manager

£50,000 - £56,000

Location: Nottingham / Hybrid 

MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Principle Process Manager for a leading commercial banking institution. This role requires expertise in process management, customer-focused thinking, and change management within a regulated credit environment. The successful candidate will design and manage loan processes, drive continuous improvement, and work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.

The Role

The Principle Process Manager will be responsible for designing and managing loan processes, ensuring great customer outcomes while driving operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex problems, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with servicing and strategy teams to deliver the company's roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create end-to-end processes to deliver excellent customer experiences and outcomes
  • Design processes to improve cross-functional operational efficiency
  • Identify and mitigate business risks, ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  • Monitor key performance metrics and share insights with stakeholders
  • Lead problem resolution when process breakdowns occur

Required knowledge and experience:

  • At least 1 year of process management experience, ideally with lean or six sigma certification
  • Experience in a regulated credit environment, preferably with knowledge of loan procedures and regulations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience in managing risks and building controls
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
