Job description

We are looking for motivated and quality-focused Print Finishing (Slitting) Operators to join our growing flexible packaging operation and offer an opportunity to become part of a business that invests in its people, equipment, and creating long-term career opportunities..

Hours of work: This role operates on a 3-week rotating shift schedule.

12 hour shift pattern, Days & Nights, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

* Week One - 3 Days

* Week Two - 3 Nights

* Week Three - 2 days & 2 Nights

Main Duties

* Operating high-speed slitting machines safely and efficiently

* Producing reels to exact customer specifications

* Carrying out quality and process control checks

* Monitoring and identifying potential issues

* Accurately completing production records

* Working closely with our Production, Quality, and Technical teams

* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety

What do we need?

* Experience operating slitting equipment within flexible packaging, or manufacturing environments is desirable

* A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Good problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement
