We are currently looking for

Printroom Manager
To maintain a constant smooth and efficient Print Room, Robotag and Wrapping operation whilst achieving budgetary and service levels. Through the development of the team and the wider areas of the business. Responsible for the achievement of specified KPIs . To develop, plan and manage the Print Room teams workload, along with its associated functions to ensure the operation is running efficiently and effectively. Responsible for imposing and maintaining agreed high standards of health and safety along with hygiene and presentation of all areas within the site(s) and ensuring that all aspects of waste management are kept within the agreed guidelines.
- To retain and motivate all relevant staff within a teams -based management culture.
- To manage and develop department KPI's, and budgets within areas of job holders control.
- To initiate procedures where necessary to avoid employees failing to reach agreed standards and targets.
- Ensure that hygiene of areas and staff is always at an accept able level.
- Performing SIC within your remit of control and challenge performances.
- Deal with any escalated disciplinary/grievance matters, liaising with the HR function for clarification and support.
- Plan and monitor daily/weekly labour and department req uirements against predicted volumes, identifying any shortfalls and reacting accordingly.
- To ensure that daily operations are managed to ensure the smooth flow in all areas that you are responsible for. Along with communicating with other areas to ensure minimal impact.
- To achieve and improve upon customer satisfaction targets by effective management ensuring that quality aspects of the depot operate to project the highest standards to the customer.
- Develop and maintain a motivated team by the encourageme nt of two-way feedback/communications and hold formal briefing sessions with Section Managers and wider team daily.
- To contribute towards the improvement of processes/methods of operating practices within the depot.
- Analyse reports against KPIs and target s and advise on action needed to improve results.
- To be responsible for H & S legislation and the sites H & S policies.
- To monitor sickness and absence levels through return
- To-work interviews and carry out appropriate action agreed with the Depot / HR manager consistently.
- Working with the Training department to ensure development and succession plans are in place and maintained.
What can you already do?
- Good relationship building

strong relationships to rely on, etc etc
- Good working knowledge and understanding of Rubicon and White Label or other Bar code printing software or other related software
- Previous experience of E-Commerce or Direct Mail printing and Processes
- Self-motivated and organised with effective communication skills both written and verbal to be able to manage across all levels within the business
- Good PC skills

Outlook, Word, Excel, Rubicon or other ERP/WHM systems
- Knowledge of Robotag or other labelling machinery desirable.
- Confident, optimistic and with the stamina and drive to create change as well as coping with sustained and changing job demands.
- Flexible and is able to embrace change and accepts accountability.
- Inquisitive, innovative and can think outside the box and is driven by continual improvement and with high personal standards and integrity.
- Has common sense, is pragmatic and is self-motivated with a can do attitude.
- Has a vision and is challenging, enthusiastic, and confident with self - belief coupled with an ability to deliver.
- Is resilient and tenacious with a clear ability to handle multiple issues and is self-disciplined and an effective personal/time planner.
- Is credible, can operate at all levels and creates the right impression and is confident with the customer.
- Has personal goals and is able to balance the work/home relationship
