You can also choose to work from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Salary Scale: £26,145 – £32,700
  • For trainees without an IAG 4 qualification, the starting point is at £26,145 (then increasing to £30,344 upon completion of IAG Level 4).
  • While the upper range is £32,700, this represents a progressive level that can be attained over time and with relevant qualifications.
Note that should you be successful, you will have the opportunity to complete a Level 4 CIAG qualification post-probation, leading to a pay increase upon completion.

Who are we looking for?
  • Candidates with a background in Criminology are encouraged to apply.
  • Possession of an IAG Level 3 qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with prison experience are especially desirable.
  • We are open to considering candidates with experience even if they lack an IAG qualification. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to complete a Level 4 CIAG qualification post-probation, leading to a pay increase upon completion.
If you are motivated to make a difference in the lives of offenders, contribute to their successful reintegration, and be part of a dynamic team within the unique environment of HMP Wandsworth, we want to hear from you.
