A top-ranked Legal 500 firm is looking to speak with an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their busy Estate Administration team, based in South Devon. This is a prime opportunity for senior practitioners looking to lead on high-value, intricate probate matters within a supportive regional firm.

The firm has grown significantly in recent years, now comprising over 140 legal and support staff across North and South Devon. The Private Client team occupies one of the firm’s five core practice groups, alongside Property, Corporate, Family, and Dispute Resolution.

The Estate Administration sub-team, led by seasoned Partners, includes approximately around 10 fee earners, supported by dedicated paralegals. Together, they handle a diverse portfolio of probate and tax cases, ranging from complex estates and HNW clients, to contentious matters and cross-border trust structures.

You'll oversee a substantial caseload of complex and high-value estates, backed by a STEP qualified team and specialists in tax, trusts, and capacity law. You will also mentor junior fee-earners, contribute to BD initiatives, and nurture long-term client relationships.

Ideally you will have at least 10 years’ PQE in Private Client matters, and STEP accreditation.
