Private Client Account Executive

We are seeking an Account Executive to join a thriving Private Client team at a leading insurance firm. How you'll make an impact

You won't just manage accounts; you'll be a trusted advisor. You'll work closely with private clients to truly understand their unique needs, crafting tailored insurance solutions for valuable assets like homes, motor vehicles, jewellery, and art. We're looking for someone who can proactively manage renewals, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and insurers to uphold high standards.

The role offers the opportunity to inherit a significant book of business: focusing on mid and high-net-worth clients, managing policies with premiums of £2000+. You will be expected to work 3 days per week in the office in Amersham and 2 days from home. While new business targets apply, they are flexible and dependent on your individual skillset, with attractive bonuses for successful new client acquisition.

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

We're seeking candidates with proven experience in an Account Executive role, ideally within the private client or high-net-worth insurance sector. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships, coupled with a deep understanding of bespoke insurance solutions, will be key to your success.

Essential attributes & skills-

• Proven experience in an Account Executive role, ideally within private client or high-net-worth insurance.
• Strong technical understanding of personal lines and private client insurance products (e.g., home, motor, jewellery, art).
• Experience in managing client relationships with a focus on delivering tailored insurance solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

Desirable skills-

• Knowledge of insurance markets relevant to private clients.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., FCA, Consumer Duty).
• Strategic and consultative thinking, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service.
