I am working with a long-standing and progressive law firm in York, who are seeking a Wills & Probate Legal Assistant to provide full legal support to their small and friendly team of Wills & Probate solicitors, with a particular focus on two senior fee earners.

The role:

• Providing high-quality administrative and legal support to the Wills & Probate team
• Preparing and drafting correspondence and legal documents
• Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and liaising with clients
• Opening and closing files, maintaining case management systems and accurate records
• Assisting with general office administration as required

About you:

• At least 6 months’ experience as a Legal Assistant, Secretary, or Administrator (ideally within a law firm)
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• A proactive and professional approach to client care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
• Confident IT and typing skills
