A Chambers-listed Legal 500 firm in Reading is seeking a Private Client Paralegal/Fee Earner to join its highly regarded and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers on high-net-worth estate planning, wills and probate matters.

The Role:

You will support the Department Manager and two Fee Earners with a varied caseload across the full range of Private Client work, including:

• Drafting simple Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Assisting with Probate Administration from start to finish: preparing forms, liaising with clients and institutions and supporting estate distribution
• Producing legal documents and correspondence
• Managing telephone enquiries and general client communication
• Setting up new files and opening matters accurately and efficiently
• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the team

About You:

You will have:

• Previous experience in Private Client paralegal or fee-earning work
• Strong typing skills (60+ wpm) and proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a can-do attitude
• A professional and client-friendly manner
