Private Client Paralegal/Legal Assistant – Lewes (East Sussex)

An established and reputable private practice is seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join its close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and conscientious individual looking to develop their legal career within a supportive and client-focused environment.

The Role:

You will support Fee Earners across a range of private client matters, including:

• Drafting and preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Assisting with probate applications and estate administration
• Liaising with clients, executors and external stakeholders
• Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate case records
• Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations

Your Profile:

My client is looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a Private Client department, ideally within a smaller high street or regional firm
• Demonstrates a compassionate, professional manner when dealing with sensitive matters
• Possesses excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication
• Is confident using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
