A highly regarded Legal 500 firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Partner to join its thriving team in the Berkshire / Thames Valley region. Recognised for excellence in Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts, this is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a firm known for its depth of expertise and outstanding client service.

You’ll manage a sophisticated caseload of high-net-worth individuals, multimillion-pound trusts, and family businesses, while supporting the strategic growth of a team widely acknowledged as one of the strongest in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a varied caseload of complex private client matters.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective legal advice and representation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure consistent delivery of excellent service.
• Support wider business development, marketing, and networking efforts.
• Mentor and guide junior lawyers and contribute to departmental leadership.

Preferred Requirements

• Ability to handle high-value estates, trusts, and tax planning matters.
• Excellent client care, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to promote the firm’s full range of services.
• A collaborative and supportive approach to team leadership.
• Commitment to upholding professional standards and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client work.
• Proven experience in managing people, processes, or practice areas.
• Strong business development and networking capabilities.
• STEP qualification or equivalent (desirable, not essential).
