Private Client Solicitor

Our client is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their busy team in their Petersfield office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused solicitor to play a key role in providing expert legal services within a friendly and supportive team environment.

Key Areas of Focus:

• Wills drafting
• Probate administration
• Court of Protection / Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
• Tax planning and advice
• Trust set up and administration
• Limited contentious probate work

Duties will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
• Providing advice on Wills, Probate and Estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work and Trusts.
• Demonstrating a compassionate and sensitive approach when dealing with elderly or incapacitated clients.
• Proactively networking and marketing to generate new business and enhance the firm's reputation.
• Maintaining good billing records and meeting targets within the team.
• Experience of contentious probate work is desirable but not essential.

Desired skills:

• Fee earning experience essential within Private Client with at least 1 years PQE +.
• Proven track record of achieving targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• STEP qualification desired but not essential.
• Business development and networking skills.
