Salary: £30,000 £38,000
Recruitment Fee: 15%
PQE: Newly Qualified to 3 Years
Contract: Full-time or Part-time considered

We are supporting a respected and expanding law firm in the Bury/Rochdale area in their search for a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their Wills, Trusts, and Probate department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor (NQ 3 years PQE) looking to build a long-term career within a forward-thinking firm offering genuine career progression, including the potential to develop and lead the department in future.

The Role:
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including:

• Drafting Wills and assisting with Will preparations

• Estate administration and applying for Grants of Probate

• Advising clients on inheritance tax, estate planning and trust structures

• Preparing and administering trusts

• Creating Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications

• Legal research, client correspondence, and content writing for social media

• Supporting senior colleagues on complex cases

• Managing your own caseload with supervision and maintaining strong client relationships

What Were Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with up to 3 years PQE (strong paralegal or trainee experience also considered)

• Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail

• Confidence in managing client relationships and working independently

• Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures within private client law

• Commercially aware with the ability to meet targets and deadlines

• A client-first approach, with professionalism, empathy, and discretion

• Experience with high-net-worth clients or complex estates is advantageous

Desirable:

• STEP qualification or membership of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers

• Experience in business development or networking

• An innovative mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
