Private Client Fee Earner – Barnsley
Barnsley | Office based with flexibility once settled
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE

A well-established South Yorkshire firm is looking for a Private Client Fee Earner to join its friendly Barnsley office.

This is a great opportunity to step into a supportive team and manage your own caseload of wills, probate, estate administration and powers of attorney. You'll enjoy working with a loyal client base and a steady stream of instructions.

The Role:

Handling a varied caseload of private client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Trusts and Court of Protection work (depending on experience)
• Meeting clients face-to-face and delivering excellent service
• Supporting business development and maintaining strong local ties

About You:

• Experienced in managing your own private client caseload (as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Fee Earner)
• STEP qualification (or working towards it) is a bonus, but not essential
• Confident communicator with a client-first approach
• Able to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
