Location: can be based in either Carluke, Airdrie, Lanark or Biggar

Reed is proud to be partnering with one of their respected clients, a well-established legal firm in Lanarkshire, to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied and rewarding caseload, with a focus on Executries, Wills and Powers of Attorney.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor seeking a long-term role with progression potential. You’ll work closely with supportive partners in a collaborative environment, with a clear route to partnership as part of the firm’s succession planning. Training and mentoring will be provided from day one to support your development into a leadership role.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Manage your own caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executries, and Trusts.
• Provide clear, compassionate, and practical advice to clients, often during sensitive times.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to ensure a seamless and high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience in private client work.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Empathetic and client-focused approach, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude to business development.
