Job Description - Private Client Solicitor

Private Client Solicitor
Location: Bolton
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience
A well-regarded and progressive law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and client-focused lawyer to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The Role:

Drafting tailored and tax-efficient Wills to address diverse client circumstances.
Advising clients on inheritance tax planning and asset protection strategies.
Providing guidance on trusts, including those used for care fee planning and wealth preservation.
Managing the full administration of estates, including complex matters involving inheritance tax.
Administering trusts and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Preparing, advising on, and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Handling Court of Protection applications and advising on deputyship matters.

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive, ideally with 2+ years’ PQE.
Consideration also given to more experienced practitioners or those looking to transition from another practice area.
Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Inheritance Tax Planning.
A client-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage your own caseload effectively while working as part of a supportive team.
Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset, with enthusiasm to contribute to the department’s growth.
