Job Description - Private Client Solicitor - 4 PQE

A Top 200 law firm in Cambridge is seeking a motivated Associate Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its thriving Private Client department. This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional looking to take the next step in their career within a progressive and supportive environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team on a variety of complex estate administration and succession planning matters. Responsibilities will include:

Working with senior lawyers on high-value and complex private client cases
Managing your own caseload and delivering clear, high-quality legal advice
Drafting contracts and legal documentation
Conducting due diligence including title checks, preparing reports, and ordering searches
Handling exchange of contracts and advising clients through the process

About You
The ideal candidate will bring:

4+ PQE and a solid background in private client work, with experience in complex estate matters
A qualifying law degree and LPC, plus a completed training contract — or equivalent qualification via GDL and CILEX
A proactive, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail
