The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to work across a broad range of quality matters involving high net worth individuals. The successful candidate will:

• Advise on wills, trusts, gifts, probate, powers of attorney, and personal tax (including income, capital gains, and inheritance tax)
  
  
• Provide estate and succession planning advice to individuals and families, working closely with the property and corporate tax teams
  
  
• Translate complex client needs into legally effective and commercially viable solutions
  
  
• Assist in resolving trust law and tax planning issues
  
  
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and tax rules
  
  
• Support other departments with technical input, such as the professional indemnity team
  
  
• Be involved in business development, seminars, and pitch contributions
  
  

You

This role would suit a confident and capable solicitor looking to take the next step in their private client career. The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified solicitor with some experience in wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning
  
  
• Personable and professional, with strong communication skills
  
  
• A team player who is also comfortable working independently
  
  
• Commercially minded with a client-focused approach
  
  
• Detail-oriented with strong legal research skills
  
  
• Comfortable using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office and ideally case management tools
