TITLE: Private Client Solicitor / Legal Exec
LOCATION: West Sussex
PQE: 3+
SALARY: £Dependent on Experience

THE ROLE:
An established and busy private client team is looking to recruit a skilled Solicitor or Legal Executive to manage a diverse caseload covering the full range of wills, probate, estate administration and related advisory work. The successful candidate will advise individuals and families on estate planning and inheritance matters, draft legal documents including wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and lead on all aspects of estate administration from initial instruction through to final distribution. You will be working closely with a loyal client base, maintaining a high level of client care and may also be involved in business development activities.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE and a strong track record in private client work. You will be confident in managing your own caseload independently and have a proactive and personable approach to client engagement. STEP qualification or progress towards it would be advantageous, as would experience advising on trusts and estate tax planning. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy are essential.
