The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor (4 years PQE+) to join this established team. Based at either the Derby or Burton office (with occasional travel to other sites), the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload and be encouraged to contribute to team development and client engagement initiatives.
Duties include:

• Handling a full caseload of wills, trusts, probate, LPAs, estate planning and administration
  
  
• Advising on inheritance tax and later life planning
  
  
• Managing files independently with minimal supervision
  
  
• Providing an exceptional client experience with clear, compassionate communication
  
  
• Contributing to team development by supporting junior staff and trainees
  
  
• Participating in networking and marketing to promote the team and the wider firm
  
  

You
The ideal candidate will be a confident and personable private client solicitor or legal executive with the following:

• A minimum of 4 years PQE in private client work
  
  
• Comfortable handling a broad caseload independently
  
  
• A solid understanding of wills, trusts, LPAs, estate administration and tax planning
  
  
• Strong client care and communication skills
  
  
• Proactive, organised, and able to work on your own initiative
  
  
• Willingness to contribute to business development and marketing activities
  
  
• A team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
  
  
• STEP membership or Association of Lifetime Lawyers membership is desirable, but not essential
