Are you a seasoned Private Client Solicitor ready to take on a senior role with real influence and progression? A well-established and highly respected firm is seeking an experienced practitioner to lead on complex, high-value matters and play a key role in the ongoing development of its Private Client department.

The Role:
In this senior position, you’ll manage a sophisticated and varied caseload, advising clients on a broad spectrum of private client matters. Responsibilities include:

• Leading on complex estate planning, drafting Wills, managing the full administration of estates, and advising on inheritance tax and trust structures.
• Acting for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on wealth preservation and succession planning.
• Providing bespoke, expert advice with a sensitive and client-focused approach.
• Supervising and supporting junior solicitors and paralegals, contributing to mentoring and team development.
• Working closely with external advisers – including financial planners and tax experts – to deliver holistic legal solutions.
• Actively participating in business development and client relationship management to help grow the department and enhance the firm’s market presence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 8 years’ post-qualification experience in private client law.
• Extensive experience advising on complex probate, trusts, tax planning, and estates.
• A confident and trusted adviser with excellent technical knowledge and strategic thinking.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude and commercial awareness.
• A proactive approach to networking and business development, helping to drive growth in the team.
