Private Client Tax Senior

An established and respected Firm of Accountants with an office in Widnes are looking for a Private Client Tax Senior, paying a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience.

Private Client Tax Senior Responsibilities:

• 
  Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including sole traders, landlords, directors and high-net-worth individuals
• 
  Preparing self-assessment tax returns and assisting with year-end planning
• 
  Supporting on more complex tax matters such as capital gains, inheritance tax and trust compliance
• 
  Assisting with P11Ds and benefits-in-kind submissions where required
• 
  Liaising directly with clients, HMRC, and internal departments
• 
  Supporting junior members of the team with queries and knowledge sharing

Private Client Tax Senior Requirements:

• 
  ATT qualified or studying towards CTA, or qualified by experience with strong technical skills
• 
  Proven experience managing a personal tax portfolio within a UK accountancy practice
• 
  Solid understanding of current tax legislation, deadlines and reporting requirements
• 
  Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
• 
  A team player with a proactive and organised approach
