Role Overview:
As the Private Dining & Events Manager with Apex Hotels, you will be an innovative and passionate private dining and events manager who enjoys creating a lifestyle F&B vibe. The role will include leading and being accountable for our Room Service offering and standards, with additional shifts in our restaurant. This role is based at our Lampery Seething Lane branch, with additional support and assistance with our other London properties.
Youll assist the F&B Manager in the delivery of outlet profits and targets
Ensure you and the team deliver outstanding service to our guests
Develop and implement engaging upselling techniques
Review key metrics and performance results
Work with F&B manager to ensure daily/ weekly payroll and F&B costs are analysed in accordance with forecast and revenue
Train and develop a multi skilled team
Collaborative work with the events department
review all guest feedback post private dining and events functions
Proactive involvement in sales trips and customer tastings to ensure personalised experiences that drive value
Ensure private dining rooms are always set to the highest standards
meet and greet event organisers and guests to ensure all needs are taken care of
Starting the Journey
On your first day you'll begin a structured 12 week learning journey, giving you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be a great Private Dining & Events Manager. With this in mind, we're looking for a Private Dining & Events Manager who:
Provide clear and influencing communicator able to interact at all levels
Loves great customer service and an eye for standards
Possesses a sales, service and profit driven mentality
Builds and develops a guest centric team
Experience at management level in the Food/Bar service sector.
In-depth knowledge of Restaurant and Bar functions including stock control, cellar management, Restaurant operation, bar operation and customer service.
The ability to lead and motivate a team of Supervisors and Assistants in service delivery.
Previous experience in recruitment, coaching, training and performance management of staff.
Excellent understanding of Licensing Law, Health & Safety and Allergen Legislation, ideally a Personal License holder or suitably qualified
