Private Patients Coordinator

Pinehill Hospital - Hitchin

30 hours per week

The hospital is one of Hertfordshire's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.

To assist the Private Patient Manager to grow self-pay and Private Medically Insured admissions to defined targets. To effectively manage consultant relationships to ensure the private patient experience is consistently delivered.  This interaction will be across all channels; in person, on the telephone and in writing.  To be measured through patient satisfaction, compliments and/or complaints whilst undertaking analysis of private activity in order to maximise revenue generation.

What you will bring with you:

• Marketing and or Sales experience

• Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to discharge

• Sound Computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting

• Confident in engaging with a variety of people particularly in a high end setting

• Excellent communication skills both face to face, over the phone and in writing

• Articulate with the highest standard of personal presentation

• Have a  positive, proud ‘can do’ attitude

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Adhere to Ramsay policies and procedures

• Private healthcare experience is desirable.
