Probate Clerk

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Probate Clerk to join my clients team in their Wallasey offices.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of the firms Private Client team.

Scope of role:

• To undertake all aspects of Probate work, including taking instructions, collating documents, applying to the Probate Registry, advising clients.
• To ensure timely progression of Probate matters.
• Provide a profitable contribution to the work done by the Private Client team.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Conduct matters from start to conclusion
• Liaising with clients
• Liaising with third parties, including Probate Registry, Barristers etc.
• Interviewing clients
• Preparing documents and bills
• Progressing matters efficiently and conscientiously and keeping clients informed
• Keeping informed of developments in law and practice
• Any reasonable tasks set by the Partners
