Job Role of the Process & Specifications Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Process & Specifications Supervisor to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturers. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within the Technical team, supporting the development of new and existing products while ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, legality and customer compliance.
Working closely with the Process & Specifications Manager, you will be involved in product development, factory trials, process improvements and specification management, helping to deliver innovative products from concept through to launch.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Process & Specifications Supervisor
Previous experience within a food manufacturing Technical, Process or Specifications role. Strong understanding of food safety, quality and customer compliance. Experience working with product specifications and process development.
Essential Requirements for the Process & Specifications Supervisor
HACCP Level 2. Food Hygiene Level 2. Knowledge of Food Law and Food Safety. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Strong problem-solving ability. Continuous Improvement mindset. Experience working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Requirements for the Process & Specifications Supervisor
Support New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects from concept through to launch. Assist with factory trials, packaging trials and process validation. Produce and maintain accurate product specifications and artwork to customer and legal standards. Support technical improvement initiatives across site. Work closely with Operations, Technical and wider ABP teams to drive product quality and consistency. Promote Food Safety Culture, GMP and customer standards throughout the site. Experience within the red meat or food manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
