Process Engineer

I'm supporting a well-established manufacturing company in Kent in their search for a Process Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on continuous improvement, process optimisation, and problem-solving across production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant processes and troubleshoot operational issues
• Lead and support improvement projects across departments
• Use Lean tools and techniques to drive efficiency gains
• Identify technical constraints (mechanical, electrical, production) and escalate where needed
• Coordinate status reviews and project updates
• Support shutdowns with analysis and corrective actions
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams
• Support training and development around Lean implementation
• Maintain strong safety, compliance, and environmental standards

What You'll Need:

• A technical engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience in a technical or process engineering role
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and production disciplines
