About the role:

The purpose of the Water Networks and Customer (WN&C) Continuous Improvement Lead is to work with the Performance Analyst to identify challenges and then to identify and deliver the change across our field teams. You will need to be able to demonstrate a high degree of coaching/mentoring and influencing skills to help drive operational performance improvements and embedding positive, sustainable change.

What you will be responsible for:

Day to day you will work closely with the Performance Advisor to:

• Effectively scope, identify, and quantify performance opportunities.
• Deliver all aspects of the intervention following scoping.
• Support in benefit quantification, tracking and data analysis.
• Provide regular feedback, mentoring and coaching to aid in cultural change.
• Share information and best practice across the team and wider business.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Background in Water Operations or similar Industry
• Knowledge and experience of Continuous Improvement methodologies Lean six sigma or a relevant alternative
• Proven experience in delivering results via improvement projects.
• Experience in coaching and facilitation

Capability:

• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and oval
• Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative
• High degree of coaching and facilitation skills
• Able to engage, influence and motivate others.
• Confidence to think differently and challenge the status quo
