  • Provide senior process engineering and team support to site operations, including:

  • Quality, reliability, and performance investigations

  • Plant trials, start‑ups, and operational changes

  • Process calculations for operational (OPEX) modifications

  • Identify and deliver optimisation opportunities across yield, energy, utilities, and cost.

  • Ensure process documentation, KPIs, reporting, and technical training materials are accurate and maintained.

Process Safety & Compliance

  • Provide leadership and governance for process safety activities across capital and operations.

  • Lead or support ICAM and LIFE investigations, process safety audits, and corrective action management.

  • Ensure effective participation in hazard studies for plant modifications and non‑routine operations.

  • Maintain compliance with COMAH and regulatory requirements, including safety report contributions and relief system assurance.

  • Deputy Responsible Person for Legionella control on site.

Automation, Data & Best Practice

  • Oversee effective use of process data and performance monitoring tools, including PI historian systems.

  • Promote best practice sharing through internal and external centres of excellence.
