Job Statement
The Process Leader is the process/line expert who is accountable for the day-to-day management of a production line or process to ensure production plan achievement. Monitoring and achieving KPIs through informed decision-making, driving team & equipment efficiency and adopting a continuous improvement mindset.
Task
• Daily management of production line/process team and all associated tasks
• Supervise team adherence to processes and policies (Safety first & Quality always)
• Ensure all associated compliance checks (H&S, Quality and GMP) are completed
• Ensure products produced meet the required product standards and specifications (Right first time)
• Ensure the right skills are available by supporting the training and upskilling of line team
• Carry out daily communications with the team including updates on production plan, line performance and other key information
• Conduct weekly team huddles on weeks performance and other key business information
• Monitor line/process KPI’s identifying issues, driving appropriate actions and solving problems to ensure targets are achieved
• Take accountability for escalating necessary issues or problems in a timely way to a range of stakeholders
• Input, analyse and interpret performance data using company systems
• Pro-actively monitor and complete equipment performance and setting checks to optimise efficiency
• Ensuring materials are accurately controlled using ERP system
• Delivery of daily production plan, highlighting and escalating issues which prevents targets being met
