Procurement & Category Lead - London - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + attractive benefits package (permanent)

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading private healthcare organisation based in London experiencing an exciting period of expansion and growth that requires a Procurement & Category Lead on a permanent basis.

This role will form part of a compact procurement function, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement.

Role:

• Lead indirect procurement
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers
• Update contracts register and procurement workplan
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across assigned spend categories designed to meet organisational goals
• Negotiating, managing of existing contracts and relationships with suppliers
• Contribute ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement

Person:

• Ideally suited to a Procurement professional with experience in the healthcare sector
• Experience of procuring and/or managing contracts
• Keen to learn and develop with a positive attitude and an ability to work in a fast paced environment
