Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by a leading organisation to recruit for a Procurement Category Manager.

Main purpose of the job

• Forecast levels of demand for products and sales
• Running tenders and making recommendations on product ranges
• Ensuring procurement policies are followed
• Keeping up to date with consumer trends
• Maintain and develop relationships with new and current suppliers
• Communicate with team members
• Negotiate contracts and agree terms

Job Requirements

• Previous experience within a Food business
• Educated to a degree level
• Commercially minded
• Happy to be office based
