Procurement Coordinator

Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about keeping complex projects moving? Join our dynamic engineering team in Sheffield as our new Procurement Coordinator - a vital role that ensures the seamless delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation across upstream, midstream, and downstream projects.

As the connective force between our customers, suppliers, and logistics partners, your duties will be :

• Track and accelerate delivery of long-lead items, stock orders, and key project equipment
• Interface with manufacturers to follow production milestones and Factory Acceptance Tests
• Flag delays early and escalate where needed to keep projects on schedule
• Maintain clear expediting logs and generate status reports for internal and client visibility
• Liaise with logistics and customs teams for timely import/export clearance
• Manage technical documentation workflows according to our control procedures
• Ensure timely processing, distribution, and archiving of data sheets, drawings, and reports
• Maintain version control and up-to-date document registers across project lifecycles
• Support audits and quality compliance (ISO 9001 and industry standards)
• Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, and commercial teams to guarantee document readiness

You will be:-

• A natural organiser with laser focus and strong communication skills
• Experienced in engineering or manufacturing environments
• Comfortable working with global suppliers, logistics providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiar with document control systems and international standards
