Procurement Manager: 12 Month FTC

You’ll be joining a world leading engineering consultancy, part of a global leader in the offshore sector of engineering, who deliver leading-edge, advanced technology from design to decommissioning. This role will require a charismatic, commercially aware and proven procurement manager to lead the team through what is a major project for the business.

Role overview

In an initial 12-month fixed term contract that could have the potential to be extended, you’ll be working on a brand new, major project for the business. Working closely with the engineering director, you’ll be responsible for the effective planning, coordination and execution of all procurement activates, acting as the focal point for procurement within all project teams.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Procumement execution
Supplier management and engagement
Coordination with project reams on tendering, purchasing and expediting
Commercial management
Quality and compliance
What are we looking for?

Proven experience in supply chain/procurement management within a technical engineering environment
Know-how of managing suppliers and subcontractors
Passionate about making meaningful impacts, happy to work in fast-paced and challenging environmentsExperience with the following would be desirable:

Offshore wind, oil & gas, and marine projects
Fabrication and construction contracts
Network of international suppliers
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
