Procurement Manager

Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client, based in Central London, who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager. This is a permanent role which is offering a salary ranged from £50,000 up to £60,000 per annum plus a range of great benefits which include a Flexible Allowance, Private Medical and more. This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectations to be on-site in the London office c2-3 days per week.

This is a brand new role, due to internal growth, that will report into the Head of Commercial and work with an existing team consisting of 5 other procurement professionals - this role does not have any direct line management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managed end-to-end procurement projects for a range of Goods/Services to ensure best practice and to deliver first class procurement and commercial services. You will be required to help identify and deliver cost savings and ensure commercial targets within the team are delivered. You will look to collaborate with wider Public Sector organisations to ensure best value, benefits etc. are delivered.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• Recent experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector marketplace
• Strong understanding of PCR2015 and an understanding of the new Procurement Act 2023
• Experience delivering savings and compliant Procurements via Open Procedure or using Government Frameworks
• Ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards MCIPS qualification i.e. have completed CIPS Level 4
• Experience using Bravo/Jaggaer and/or Workday would be advantageous
