Job Description - Procurement Manager

Spencer-Richardson are pleased once again to partner with a growing hospitality business that are searching for their new Procurement Manager.

This business continues on its exciting growth trajectory as it adds to the portfolio of venues offering great dining and drinks experiences. Along with their excellent reputation for service, they also drive three initiatives a year that give back to the communities they serve.

Key Responsibilities -
Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring excellent communication at all times.
Ensure contract compliance, and regularly review the performance of suppliers.
Manage any challenges with price, quality, delivery or invoicing with suppliers promptly and effectively.
Brand Category Management.
Understand company costs, quality and delivery targets - purchasing goods required to ensure smooth & profitable running of the business.
Ensure that all required goods and materials are in continuous supply.
Evaluate the procurement and sourcing strategy, making adjustments and improving processes were needed.
Adhere to company guidelines for purchasing, policies and procedures.
Use your negotiation skills to secure best pricing with market suppliers - using your market trend knowledge to influence stakeholders.
Manage the Business Tendering process.
Monthly reporting to the senior leadership team.

To Be Successful -
Proven experience in a procurement role, ideally within the leisure/hospitality or F&B industry.
Natural commercial mindset that will seek opportunities and bring new ideas.
Financially literate and numerically astute, being able to analyse the data.
CIPS qualification desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Collaborative team approach, able to build and maintain professional working relationships.
