Procurement Manager. Business Process Outsourcing – Banking | Buckinghamshire & Remote

£70K - £80K plus bonus, 30 days Holiday, plus strong pension plan
We are delighted to represent one of the UK’s leading banks in identifying an experienced procurement manager with a focus on Business Process Outsourcing. This role sits in a business unit key to understanding the banks route to supply, cost drivers and opportunities. You will be working cross functionally to generate a full and accurate category demand, providing analysis on movements, and recommending how to enhance the banks cost position. The Procurement team is undergoing an exciting procurement transformation with this position seen as a critical role in that journey.

What the role involves
· Ensuring stakeholders understand the cost picture of the BPO category
· Acting as a final decision maker on supplier choice and accepting the responsibility for ensuring the supply chain and contract are capable of addressing business need.
· Partnering with Organisation colleagues to ensure the make-buy decision is understood and documented,
· Ensuring a detailed tracking and monitoring regime is in place to allow effective management oversight of the challenge and linkage to the P&L
· Providing full transparency of all challenges, risks, and opportunities within relevant categories.

What you’ll bring
· Strong experience in delivering BPO procurement programs, communication and negotiating skills in a financial services organisation
· Experience in strategic recruitment, outsourcing, MSP’s RPO, health, well-being and reward and benefits consolidation programmes.
· Experience of working in a large transformational procurement function and leading the sourcing strategy for multimillion pound tenders
· Strong stakeholder management and influencing skill
