Procurement Manager (Services/Indirect Categories)
Location: Oxford, Bristol, London (Hybrid working 3 days in office)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 plus excellent bonus

Our client is a global property and real estate organisation, seen to be a leader in their niche, and with ambitious growth plans.

They seek to appoint an experienced procurement professional from a services-based procurement background, who has experience gained in a sophisticated multi-site procurement environment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for development and career progression, whilst involved in the challenge of developing and implementing a sophisticated procurement function.

You will be responsible for:
Leading procurement activities for the organisation, identifying and delivering cost savings and ensuring value for money.
Managing the tendering process and leading contract negotiation activities.
Developing and implementing procurement strategy, policy, and process.
Internal stakeholder management, guiding them through the procurement process.
Supplier management, creating and onboarding new suppliers, on-going relationship management, supplier rationalisation projects, and performance management.

Requirements:
Background in services/indirect procurement such as corporate and professional services, facilities management, property management, catering, and telecoms categories.
Previous experience of implementing procurement processes and procurement strategy.
Experienced in sourcing and selecting suppliers, leading tendering process, and negotiating and implementing procurement contracts.
Identifying cost saving opportunities and developing strategy to deliver savings.
Skilled in managing internal stakeholder relationships, delivering contracts that offer value for money.
Experience of managing complex supplier relationships, managing their performance, identifying, and mitigating risks from suppliers.
Ideally studying towards, or MCIPS qualified.
Commercially astute, analytical, self-sufficient, self-starter.
