Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 dependant on experience

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Procurement Officer position for a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role offers great benefits including remote/hybrid working, enhanced pension contributions and flexitime.

The Role:

• Supporting the Category Managers with end-to-end procurement projects
• Responsible for sourcing and negotiating terms with suppliers
• Managing procurement contracts
• Administering tender documentation
• Support and assist with the development of category strategies
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Assist with the reporting on procurement spend and efficiencies achieved for contracts awarded

The Person:

• Knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015
• CIPS qualified, or willing to work towards
• Commercially aware
• Analytical
• Verbal and written communication skills
