Procurement Specialist

The Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for coordinating all technical aspects of procurement activities related to bespoke materials. You’ll work closely with production, planning, and supplier teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement that supports our operational goals.

Key responsibilities for the Procurement Specialist include:

• Managing purchase orders and vendor relationships using the MRP system
• Monitoring lead times, logistics, and inventory levels to ensure material availability
• Collaborating with internal teams to support production planning and forecasting
• Evaluating supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with safety, legality, and traceability
• Supporting cost-saving strategies
• Attending planning and supplier meetings, providing insights and guidance

The Individual

The Successful Procurement Specialist will be/ have:

• 3+ years of prior procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, sourcing, and supplier management.
• Proficiency in MRP systems and MS Excel
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A team player with a proactive and flexible approach to work
• Enjoy working in a close knit team
• Willingness to learn and grow with a business
