Position: Procurement Specialist – Defence Consulting

The position involves developing and implementing alternative procurement and stores support strategies to enhance team responsiveness and agility. This includes addressing emergent demands that cannot be fulfilled through standard supply chain channels and often require customized solutions with delivery timelines measured in days. The aim is to:

* Provide the necessary flexibility to reduce delays in project progression.

* Enhance submarine availability by minimizing delays that lead to significant daily cost overruns.

The role includes embedding stores support functions directly within the team to strengthen cohesion, expand capacity, and enhance the ability to address stores-related challenges. This integration is critical for managing the complexities of large-scale engineering projects effectively.
