POSITION: PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN INTERNSHIP (3 MONTH INTERNSHIP)
REPORTS TO: PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Due to rapid international growth, we have an amazing internship role available in our Procurement and Planning team based in our Glasgow, head office. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position will involve you working as part of our global supply chain team. You will learn all about purchasing and procurement procedures, demand and supply planning, and system maintenance. This is a really incredible and rare opportunity to launch a career in supply chain within a global beauty business.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
PURCHASING:
Maintain purchase records, SKU’s and BoM’s within the ERP & MRP system.
Setting up SKU’s on internal databases.
Raising Purchase Orders
Amending and maintaining purchase orders and purchase order logs.
Maintaining and updating master price lists.
Assisting with the development and maintenance of forecasting and planning documents.
GENERAL:
Make decisions in a fast-paced environment, whilst paying close attention to detail.
Adapt to a constantly changing, dynamic environment.
Work with team members to complete a hoc duties as required.
Continuously develop processes maximising efficiencies within this role and department.
Utilise and develop the use of the ERP/MRP systems in order to automate processes, provide reports and maximise department efficiencies.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
This internship opportunity would suit a recent supply chain graduate or student looking for experience over the summer. We are open to receiving applications from anyone passionate about starting a career in Supply Chain!
The following technical experience isn’t necessary but would be a distinct advantage:
M365 applications (outlook and excel – beginner to intermediate level)
Warehouse Management or similar IT system

Strong organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time Management – ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise work
Can work autonomously - Able to autonomously process information, follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Exceptional attention to detail and high quality of output
