Procurement Support Officer

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Contract Support Officer to work with our client on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis with one day per week based in the office.

Overview:

The successful candidate will join the IT Services Team, working within the Digital Programmes & Projects Service to support the procurement and commissioning of products and services that underpin the delivery of digital and technology services.

The successful candidate will have previous public sector procurement experience, with proven experience of sourcing through frameworks and tenders and a working knowledge of PA 2023/PCR 2015 legislation

Main Duties:

Support the procurement and commissioning of products and services that underpin the delivery of digital and technology services

*

Source products and services through frameworks and tenders

*

Provide procurement support across technology hardware, software and services

*

Work within the Digital Programmes & Projects Service

Essential Criteria:

*

Previous public sector procurement experience, preferably within a Local Authority

*

Proven experience of sourcing through frameworks and tenders

*

Working knowledge of PA 2023/PCR 2015 legislation

*

Experience of technology hardware, software and services related procurement

*

Available to work onsite in Bradford one day per week
