Product Compliance & Testing Manager

Adecco Worcester are recruiting on behalf of a client for an opportunity to join a growing design, import, and distribution business supplying consumer products across the UK and Europe. This role takes full ownership of product compliance, safety, and testing across a varied product range sold through retail and online channels, including Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all product compliance and regulatory activities
Ensure products meet UK & EU legislation (GPSR, CE/UKCA, REACH, RoHS, etc.)
Develop and oversee testing and certification programmes
Liaise with external test houses (e.g. SGS, Intertek, TÜV)
Review test reports and maintain technical documentation
Support product development and advise suppliers on compliance requirements
Manage Amazon and marketplace compliance, including documentation requests
Conduct risk assessments and support product safety investigations or recalls
Maintain audit-ready records including Declarations of Conformity and technical files Skills & Experience

5+ years in product compliance, testing, or product safety
Strong knowledge of UK/EU regulations and standards
Experience managing testing programmes and reviewing reports
Background working with overseas suppliers
Highly organised with strong attention to detail Desirable

Experience with testing bodies or marketplace compliance (e.g. Amazon)
