Job Description - Product designer

The Role As our Digital Product Designer, you will be central to crafting educational experiences that resonate with our users.

This role demands a blend of creativity and strategic thinking, focusing on the design and rapid iteration of our web-based learning platforms, transitioning to mobile as we evolve.

You will champion our learners' voices, ensuring their perspectives and feedback deeply inform our design choices and strategies.

Responsibilities Design and refine the companies digital interfaces with an empathetic approach to user needs, incorporating direct feedback from our learners to enhance usability and engagement.

Experiment and deliver fast-cycle iterations to find the best solutions that align with our pedagogical objectives.

Work collaboratively with a dynamic team, including guiding junior designers, to produce compelling and effective designs.

Engage in strategic planning sessions to help shape the future trajectory of our learning tools and platforms.

What We’re Looking For Demonstrable skill in digital product design, shown through a strong portfolio (or demos of recent work) with web and mobile projects.

Proficiency in using modern design tools like Figma and Webflow, along with lean and agile testing methodologies.

A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable with fast-paced, iterative environments where feedback is rapidly integrated into design processes.

Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a commitment to inclusive design practices.

A passion for the mission of transforming education and genuine enthusiasm for incorporating diverse learner voices in product design.

Some understanding and experience in the fields of pedagogy and learning science would be a bonus.
