Product Development and Test Engineer

In this role you will play a key part in supporting the development and testing of new fibre optic products. You will be responsible for assembling components, running test equipment, supporting experimental designs, analyzing data, and maintaining laboratory tools and standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow or pivot into the fibre optics field, with full training and support provided.

Location: Berkshire
Travel: Up to 25%
Reports To: Group Product Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related science field preferred.
• Hands-on experience in fibre optic cable assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of fibre optic testing procedures and industry standards is a plus.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish language a plus).
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
