A specialist e-commerce solutions company, based in Exeter, is seeking a

Product Documentation Writer

to help deliver clear and effective product documentation.

The role offers a hybrid working model; 3 days a week in the office, Monday – Friday 9-5:30.

Responsibilities of the Product Documentation Writer:
Craft user stories and draft product requirement documents.
Produce and maintain Knowledge Base articles, ensuring clarity, brevity, and utility.
Compose Tender Responses with a compelling, sales-oriented strategy.
Collaborate closely with the UX and development teams to ensure documentation aligns with product design and user experience.
Facilitate the launch of new products by documenting them for internal teams and clients.
Liaise with the training coordinator and marketing team to accurately describe products in the client-facing Knowledge Base, sales materials, and tender responses.

Requirements of the Product Documentation Writer:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
Proven experience in technical writing or product documentation.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into simple, user-friendly content.
Experience in writing sales-oriented product descriptions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Familiarity with documentation tools and software.
