Platform Recruitment have partnered with a global automotive manufacturer. They are looking to recruit a product inspection manager with a strong background in automotive and precision engineering.

The Product Inspection Manager will lead inspection processes in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of product inspection, surface finish measurement, and 3D/contact metrology.
• Lead a small team while managing multiple projects across lab operations.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Develop and automate measurement programmes using tools like Matlab, Python, and VBA.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience in the automotive sector and precision engineering
• Hands-on knowledge of surface finish measurement
• Familiarity with visual and imaging inspection technologies
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Proven experience with diesel fuel injection systems and complex metrology.
