Product Manager - Financial Advice (Wealth Management)

Location: London

Salary: £100,000 - £140,000 + exceptional pension + extensive benefits

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 from home)

A leading UK wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Product Manager to take full ownership of its financial advice proposition. This is a newly created, strategic role responsible for the end-to-end management of advice services across pensions, ISAs, protection, and offshore bonds.

This firm offers a vertically integrated wealth model, spanning financial planning, discretionary investment management, tax, and protection, with a strong presence across the UK and a long-standing reputation for high-quality service and client satisfaction.

You will work across commercial, regulatory, and client experience domains to ensure the advice services are commercially competitive, regulatory compliant, and aligned with evolving client needs. While there is no direct line management at the outset, this is a high-visibility role with a clear path into senior leadership.

Responsibilities Include:

• Full product lifecycle management of advice services (pensions, ISAs, offshore bonds, protection)
• Leading customer journey mapping and proposition enhancements
• Shaping client-facing materials and ensuring clarity, transparency, and compliance
• Monitoring competitor trends, cost-to-serve, and market alignment
• Conducting value assessments, target market reviews, and fair value reporting
• Driving product governance and Consumer Duty obligations
• Collaborating with advice, operations, compliance, marketing, and leadership teams

Ideal Background:

• Strong experience in product management, proposition design, or advice strategy
• Technical knowledge of financial planning products and regulations
• Background in private banking, national wealth management, or integrated advice firms
• Excellent stakeholder management and commercial insight
