Are you ready to help build a more sustainable food system?

Foodsteps, part of Registrar Corp, is looking for a high-performing Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will help build software that supports a more sustainable food system.

This is more than just a product engineering role—you will work directly on product initiatives that support our customers on their sustainability journeys, playing a meaningful part in advancing Foodsteps’ mission. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy learning modern technologies, and are excited by the opportunity to adapt and grow alongside an evolving product, we would love to hear from you.

Position Summary

As a Product Manager at Foodsteps, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving a product that helps organizations measure and reduce the environmental impact of their food choices.

You will contribute across the full product lifecycle—from discovery and technical design to implementation, testing, release, and ongoing support. Working in a Scrum environment, you will define, prioritize, and communicate user stories, ensuring the team remains focused on delivering high-value solutions for customers.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and a product designer in a fast-paced, agile setting. With frequent releases and strong cross-team alignment, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful, visible contributions to both the product and the overall customer experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Talk to customers and internal experts, and analyse data to understand the needs of different markets and personas, identify opportunities, and shape products that create value for our customers and the business.

  • Create, prioritise and communicate user stories in a Scrum environment, helping the team focus on delivering the highest-value solutions to our customers.

  • Collaborate within a small team of product, design and engineering colleagues to build, launch and continuously improve our suite of products.

  • Partner closely with our Product Designer, providing feedback on ideas, prototypes and designs.

  • Test new features before launch, helping to identify issues and ensure a high-quality experience for our customers.

  • Work alongside the Head of Product to contribute to product vision, strategy and roadmap planning, gaining exposure to how product decisions are made in a technology company

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to empathise and work with users and colleagues with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and motivations

  • Ability to impartially analyse data, confidently question popular thinking, and justify decisions

  • Expereince with Scrum methodology

Why Join Foodsteps?

  • Competitive compensation of base salary £55,000 - £65,000

  • Full range of benefits, including 27 paid holiday days, flexible working, and climate perks for travel days.

  • Enjoy quarterly team days and key events

  • Hybrid flexibility visiting the London office at least once a month for cross functional collaboration with the team

  • 0.8 - 1.0 FTE considered (e.g., full time, 4 days a week, 9 days a fortnight). * 1-year fixed term with the possibility to extend
