Job Title: Product Manager Lumishore is a rapidly growing customer – focussed design, development and manufacturing company in the Marine industry utilising advanced LED lighting technology solutions. We have developed an excellent reputation for our market-leading lighting products and systems. These achievements have been recognised with Lumishore winning multiple Industry Awards and the Queen’s / King’s. Award for Enterprise on seven occasions amongst other accolades. We are now looking for a Product Manager to join our team to manage the identification, introduction and delivery of new lighting solutions to Leisure Marine and Superyacht markets internationally.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The role should be seen as core to the Product Development of innovative, customer-focussed lighting solutions and will appeal to experienced professionals currently working in the same or similar discipline Management of the Product Life cycle with specific responsibility for the management of new product introduction Identify customer needs for marine lighting systems Monitor trends in global lighting capability and direction Identify solutions to Customer needs for Lumishore Marine lighting products to OEMs and the aftermarket for both Leisure Marine and Superyachts. Develop networks with multiple channels and influencers to understand, communicate and sell the right solution for boat builders. Co-ordinate with Lumishore Sales, Engineering and Marketing teams to develop product and sales strategies for specific customers Deliver product demonstrations to potential customers - both technical and non-technical – for new product introductions Represent the company at trade shows throughout the year Other related duties as required
Additional
experience/knowledge
required includes: Degreelevel qualification 3 years experience in Product Management in a technical product environment and / or 3 years experience in Business Development or Product Management in the Marine or Smart Lighting Sectors and Project Management skills Proven affinity with advanced technical products Demonstrable ability to work across multiple disciplines and the work at the most senior positions in organisations and influence customer opinion Customer focused ethos to develop the best solutions for clients. Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technical product capabilities and competitive differentiators Real team player Salary: Negotiable and will include commission and bonuses. Location: UK (preferably Swansea) with frequent business trips, primarily to Europe, the Americas and the Middle East
